Jeon Do Yeon & Kim Go Eun Brings Intense Drama to Netflix’s The Price of Confession

Netflix has already set the date of its next massive Korean thriller The Price of Confession, which is starred by Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun.

The mystery-drama series is scheduled to be released on December 5, 2025 and it is already among the most anticipated K-dramas of the year.

🕵️ What’s the Story About?

The plot revolves around the character of Yoon Soo (Jeon Do Yeon) who is accused of murdering her husband. Things go wrong as she encounters Mo Eun (portrayed by Kim Go Eun), an outsider with a mysterious reputation and who had been branded as a witch.

When they meet, Mo Eun offers Yoon Soo a horrible proposition that she will kill Yoon Soo husband but in exchange, she demands something that can be offered only by Yoon Soo.

The next thing is an emotional struggle between credibility, guilt and survival that is dark. To what extent will Yoon Soo go to show that she has been innocent and to what extent will Mo Eun go to dominate her destiny?

The recent teaser poster released reflects the chilling atmosphere in the show. The two women are depicted in the same prison uniforms and divided by a concrete wall.

The eyes of Yoon Soo are full of fear and desperation but the expression of Mo Eun is composed and conceals a lot more. Are they antagonists, friends or two faces of one truth?

The trailer starts with Yoon Soo holding her bloody husband screaming in terror. A few seconds later, when she is serene at the funeral and when being interrogated by police, her composure, nearly bordering on the spooky, leaves the audience with a question, is something to conceal?

Then Mo Eun, gazing on dumsily, then makes her his offensive proposal:

I will tell you, but thou shalt have me to render thee a recompense.

Then on it develops anarchy – lawsuits, shouts and one chilling sentence which remains in your head:

Jeon Do Yeon as Yoon Soo – a murder accused wife who is torn between grief and guilt.
